Lando Manning presents his debut EP; ‘Hip Shot’, a four-track collection of sun-drenched, acid-folk inspired songs confronting themes that range from surviving the day-to-day to accepting to inevitable turns of time. Drawing from a deep pool of influences ranging from 70s British Folk to South American literature, ‘Hip Shot’ is an intimate, ethereal debut collection which recounts the sounds and voices of the past and throws them into the present to give a warmly familiar, yet fresh sound with a uniquely refreshing perspective on nature, identity and relationships.

The seed of the project began to grow back in early 2020 while Lando was still studying in Leeds, but it was not until he moved to Brighton in the autumn of that year that things started to develop. Lando teamed up with his childhood friend Miles Dee who engineered and produced the EP alongside Lando.
